Is Safe Mode on my Galaxy Note 3 a fix to my battery loss problem?

If I put my galaxy note 3 into safe mode will it save my battery and still let me use all the basic functions such as text, call, and data usage?

Welcome to Android Central! Safe Mode disables all 3rd party apps you installed until you reboot normally again. It's more of a troubleshooting step. If the phone is having a problem and it goes away in Safe Mode, then you know some app you installed is causing that problem--but it can still be tricky to narrow it down to a specific app.
