Is something wrong with my GPS?

The few occasions I try to use navigation it's worthless and never updates my location before I pass the turn I was supposed to make.
And now this. I drove on hwy 101 for 5 hours and my location history shows me flying in a straight line over California. I made several stops along the way for it to detect my route.

What's going on with the GPS?

My location is set to high accuracy

It shows you on foot as opposed to a car. Change your mode of travel.

For some reason it shows driving, walking, driving, then just moving. But even when I'm driving to work the history path just darts across town instead of my actual route.

Try clearing the cache for the application.

In the Application Manager.

1.Force Stop
2 Clear Cache

Yep, I keep getting lost GPS signal. It's basically useless, so use Waze.

If waze works then Is it the Maps app and not the phone's GPS?

In the diagram provided it shows you walking. Tap on the car in the same general area as that may help.

I fixed that thanks, but the location is still off. It's still tracking me as flying in straight lines, not following the actual route.
