Yep... Never been hit once for any overages on unlimited plans and I have 3 phones hooked into my account...

No. I got a letter in the mail last month saying they were going to terminate my line if I kept going over 5gigs.

Its been close to 3 years now since we cancelled our internet pc card and started tethering......
  • My wife hits 4-6gig every month
  • I hit 2-4gig every month
I have never heard a peep from Sprint about it.

This month (due to me not thinking) I have gone over 14gig so I'm keeping my fingers crossed :-X

Yeah I hit 18gigs lol. I'm sure that threw up a bright red flag.

I've been using over 10gb since I had a Palm Pre and have NEVER EVER received any sort of correspondence regarding limits or overages. I've been using at least 15GB with the EVO 3D due to faster download speeds. This month (12/30) I'm on track to hit 16GB

Don't believe the hype or possible trolls. Sprint is unlimited until Sprint decides it isn't.
Also, a company cannot run countless ads screaming about how great their unlimited service is and then cap you. Won't happen. Make the switch if you get service in your area. If unlimited is the most important thing to you, you will not regret it.

I would like to see you post that letter you just mentioned.

I have been using between 7-15 GB of data per month since August 2010. I have never been slowed down or had a letter from sprint.

As long as you're not using alot of data while roaming you should be fine.

I left sprint because of the 5gig tether cap. If the hertz of their towers pierced buildings better I would have stayed. Unlimited data is key. When VZW (they say never) caps data I will go back to sprint.

I don't have 3G here (and it would have been far more than a 2 hour drive, each direction, to get into one), so I just bought one on eBay for about $400 (including overnight shipping). T-Mobile told me I could stop by and "look" at their display models and ask as many questions as I wanted. No thanks.

Has anyone else picked up a G1? If so, where and how much? Are you using it yet? I can't wait for mine to arrive :)

Vzw does cap data at 2gb. I'm with em right now and hate the caps mobile and tether

That is common knowledge yes? Except the millions already subscribed before caps 2 3 4 5 6 10, whatever you subscribe to post unlimited end days. I think most people fear sprints roaming agreements, those are certainly not unlimited. It depends where you live to have sprint make sense.

Well I don't travel so I won't roam. And yeah I have 'unlimited' data right now but still get capped at 2gb

Ive use ALOT more than 5gb per month and have never received hatemail from then on it. Prolly get dropped fast if all the sudden most of that becomes roaming.

I'm on Verizon and no there is NOT a data cap. I'm currently at 8GB for the month and still getting full LTE speeds.
