Is support for the Bluetooth LDAC codec fully implemented?

Oreo is supposedly now including Sony's LDAC codec, but when I got an S9 I found it isn't really implemented (one has to set it in Developer Options and it won't keep the setting through device restarts).

Can anyone confirm for me if LDAC is fully implemented with the V30?

(This of course presumes that the V30 readily upgrades to Oreo. I'm on Verizon.)

Thanks!

It doesn't stick in Oreo, so it's not going to stick in any phone. (I guess all those "doesn't stick" choices are there in preparation of the time the codec is ready.)

My Sony WI-H700's automatically connect to my HTC U11+ running Oreo using the Ldac codec. I know Pixel 2's are same. With Oreo you should be able to see in bluetooth settings, which codec is being used, without going into dev options.

I'm on Verizon and the update to Oreo was 2 weeks ago.
