Instead of taking pictures of screens, why don't you upload the pics taken from the camera and upload those for more clarity?? The other day you said the photos are "booty" which I am guessing to mean the pictures are "booty" = "a$$" not impressive. Shots of screens of course are not going to show the quality of photo and color etc, because you could be taking a picture of the screens using an iPhone 6s and your seeing flaws taken with THAT camera.
Not trying to poo poo your work and appreciate you trying but just saying can't get a good read if these are suppose to be good. For a $1400 phone, the pics I'm seeing are not that special imo.
And if the Samsung can do one thing in past gen phones is that they take good outdoor photos in natural lighting. What I wanna see if you can provide is how this sucker handles indoor photos and indoor lighting.
Thanks.
So, like I said, not to trying to get anyone in trouble so I'm going to start attaching IPs and Gmails and stuff to the phone. If you look at the side by side of green, even if they aren't accurately portrayed here, it is obvious they are different colors. One, is from a website on a display that is "indistinguishable from perfect" and the other is a picture of that display. Look at that iPhone picture, then look at marketing materials of the Mid. Green device...way off and that difference is accurate. Also, these things are starting to trickle out to stores, go try them.
And...like why tf would I lie about this. I don't identify through brands and by the nature of my profession have spent years trying to train myself in neutrality of observation and awareness of unconscious biases. These images look damn close to the colors reproduced on the actual picture. As for the Ultra, same reasons. Those pics are clear and I was just HAVING FUN WITH OTHER PHONE NERDS by sharing this stuff because I myself have been scouring the webz for the last few days looking for samples and tests of this device I'm excited for. Most of them are the typically jaded...eh, zoom is useless, kind of responses (though I don't understand what is being said in the Korean video kicking around).
To me, I see a new set of abilities that will allow for interesting compositions that you simply cannot achieve in most shooters or at least those popular in the West. I took a picture of a lighting fixture, a big stainless steel can with deeply recessed bulbs hanging from this skeletal, steel scaffolding that just felt so good to the part of me that loves aesthetics in some Aristotelian way. I find a kind of nourishment in beauty ensconced in normalcy and was able to capture that because of the retained quality while zooming.
Yes 30x is shaky, yes 100x is very shaky and mostly blurry, but there is not a uselessness involved and I refuse to consider it a gimmick because what it really is is a new decision being made to potentially push the experience forward. That used to what Android was all about, not some half-assed pursuit of Apple's sterility approach (which is beautiful in its own way).
120 refresh is #godsplan tho. Went back to my Note 9/11 Pro and am just like...YUCK lol
Cheers
