Is the camera any better?

I apologise, but I don't remember where I downloaded it from. I remember reading an article and clicking on the link then clicking the download button. I do have the version though if you want to search. MGC_6.1.021_BSG_ARNOVA_TinNeun
Version 1.3.030119.0645
I haven't looked for updates since it works so well. Even had wide angle option. Just have to double click the selfie icon to the left of the centered camera button. Hope that helps

If you have exynos then there really isn’t a good Gcam port.

I just had a good play with the plus and normal (there do not seem to be any demo units other than dummies of the Ultra)

I was left very unimpressed TBH, general use was slower vs. My OP7 Pro. I was also not impressed with the camera and after taking some in-store shots with the main lens the trademark smudged detail was there in full effect!

Wish is odd given how great he camera looks in YouTuber videos

Never been disappointed at all with my note camera. Can't say I have noticed much difference between it and any pixel I have had.
Take a picture of a kid or a pet and you'll see the huge difference between the Pixel line and Samsung phones.

Max only means it’s the larger screened of the two. Pro means the higher end three camera setup available, regardless of size (whether Max or no Max). No Pro = 2 cameras.

Shouldn't it be Ultra vs Pro Max or is the Max camera the same as the Pro?

My experience was with the plus not the ultra, cannot comment on the ultra. I was very underwhelmed with the plus though.

I’m probably going to cancel my pre-order and wait.

Wow...the criticism here seems to be a little unfair in my opinion, but ok.

To me, the Pixel camera is brilliant but also overrated. Everyone is pretending that the Pixel 4 takes the best pictures by using photos of pets as a benchmark. It’s laughable. Everyone is forgetting that the Pixel 4’s sensor size is smaller, the zoom is worse, it doesn’t have ultra-wide etc. And as a PHONE overall, the S20 devices destroy it in every way. Better design (subjective), better display, better processor, storage, RAM, battery etc.

I don't think its hard to make moving subjects not blurry and details not to be washed out. There isn't that much magic here. And Google as a software company sure has ton of bugs in Pixel phones, camera is the only thing they got right
I am talking about S10 here.....but already saw 2 pretty respected reviews and both said the same thing about s20.....fingers crossed

Well literally every brand of camera I've used has motion blur with low shutter speeds, it's how cameras work. Google managed the best computational photography, something no other phone maker or camera manufacturer has been able to match. Their nightsite looks better because of it, and they clearly get away with a quicker shutter speed reducing motion blur because their AI can brighten and enhance the photos better.

It may not be magic, but it clearly isn't easy to program AI to defy physics.

What is often overlooked when we discuss the Pixel camera is the Video and Audio. The video by itself isn't insanely bad but it could be much better and the audio is really bottom of the barrel. I find it difficult to say the camera is great unless we omit video as part of the equation.

I reaaaaaaallllllyyyy can't wait til peeps start posting their real life 100x pics! Someone who plunked down the moolah...please start the thread! :-)

Low light photos by reviewers are always a dimly lit photo of a collectible on a desk, a coffee mug or a drink glass at a bar. Never of moving objects, kids or animals. Most pics in reviews are sunlit parks and city scapes. Don’t really tell the true story.

I agree.
