Is the high pitch vibrator sound a defect or a "feature"?

Hello, first off all I'm sorry for double posting but I'm not sure which part of the forum my first thread went.

Bought a nexus 5x today and i immediately noticed the sound it makes while having the vibrator active for typing and side buttons and stuff like that. You can't really hear it when holding the phone at an arms length so i could probably get used to it. What i wonder if is this sound is due to a defect or if its present on every 5x?

If you do not have this problem with your 5x id like to know so I can RMA it as soon as possible

Have you turned off keyboard sounds on your 5X?

Yes keyboard sound is turned off completely, only keyboard touch vibration is active. Are you saying you don't experience this on your 5x? Did you watch the video I included?

Yes I did watch your video - and did some testing for you. I also have vibrate turned off for the keyboard. But I turned on vibrate for keyboard and get the same sound.

So what you are hearing is normal if you have vibration turned on.
