I found my self asking myself, Htc Evo 4g lte or Samsung Galaxy Nexus?? So i did a little research and i found a review for the htc one x. which is basically the htc evo 4g lte. i was actually surprise the nexus trumps the Htc evo 4g lte. I was sold on the Evo, but now i think i may go nexus. The main attraction to the one x/evo is the camera and its said that the Nexus camera actually takes better pictures, apparently the one x/evo makes the pictures come out with a blue hue. Well anyway here is the video link:

Yes. :-P

Actually, no one knows until we get our greedy little hands on either phone.

I wouldn't trust that one review. The GNex camera is pretty bad, and the One X beats it in pretty much every other dimension...speed, screen, battery life. So. Idk what that person was thinking. As far as blue hue, that's a software thing that can be fixed with an update.

Ask Phil how he feels about it.

Rabble rabble rabble.

Idk take a look at the pictures : HTC One X - image from HTC One X vs Samsung Galaxy Nexus

and just look at how wonky the One x's browser was compared to the nexus. I would ask Phil but he's high off the One X.

That review worries me. I'm counting on this phone since it looks to be the only one of the new crop that will have a hardware camera button- which is something I don't think I can live without. But that browser flakiness would drive me nuts! The difference in Flash performance was also surprising. Also the reported flakiness of the UI vs stock made me worry. I'm worried HTC cannot hit the mark of robustness with their custom UI and apps. Something I feel has always plagued them (an most non Google phones to be fair).

Just download Chrome and be done with it. Trust me, I love the ICS browser, but Chrome is so awesome.

For me, I'm completely in love with the One X, but not enough to go off contract (or go to ATT) for one.

In my opinion what had the Nexus beat was the camera and performance. But after that review I have to go with the nexus. Simply because if the nexus is better or just as good as the One X, then Nexus has the win. Same or better camera, Same or better performance, + speedy updates + no bloatware= Win

I keep seeing rumors the processor in the Sprint G-nex is going to be different than in the Verizon version. I can't believe that would be true but there are rumors about it if you just google it. If that is true I wonder if the GPU will be different? If these rumors are true then the true winner in regards to performance may not be as clear.

Well if speed is different that does not mean that the processor is different. It's supposed to be 1400, but it's underclocked to 1200. I've run mine at 1650 without problems too...

If it's different it doesn't really make sense, b/c the processor is more than adequate IMHO.

The OneX is better in every single hardware spec. I don't think a single review should influence your decision. Every other review (like Anandtech) has the S4 beating every other SoC out there.

I'm sure the browser issues will get fixed soon enough, if not there are plenty of other browsers to choose from.

Idk I think the Nexus is strong here. Remember Megapixels aren't anything. I feel the Nexus has a better camera sensor.

It looks to me that the Nexus is slightly over exposed vs under exposed by the One X. Neither is ideal. Both can be fixed.

Same thoughts here on the exposure.. How would you expect that to be fixed? Different camera app? Update to the existing ones?

Actually the camera can be fixed via a software update. I have a motorola xoom and after i received 4.0.4 i noticed that the camera has drastically improved. It takes much more vivid and clear pictures. I believe that the pictures i posted were taken from a Nexus Running 4.0.3 before the camera improvements.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but all the gnex pics seem to be zoomed in closer than the one x. Having more light to average in will make the pics darker overall.

Not convinced.

keep in mind that the One x has a wider lens making thing look farther away.

That's the HDR technology at work in the One X. Remember, that not long after the iPhone 4 was released, it received a major update for the camera that included a similar technology. I don't know the photography terminology but it darkens the background when its very bright. Look at the sky in the first photo. Its more defined. The imaging software does need a little tweaking and it will be OK. Notice that the reviewer did not include any dimmed-light shots. The One X would have smoked the GN in that department.

Furthermore, the Reviewers unit had the Tegra 3 in it. Performance with the S4 will be a little bit different. I look forward to seeing those comparison tests. But like someone else said... Just download the Chrome app.

Look at the OP and click on the second link, on the 3rd page you will see the pictures. Among those are some low light pics and the one x look like crap
