Is the S22 Ultra still worth it?

They definitely are getting expensive but with some of the trade deals they are affordable.
That's true! Trade-in deals are awesome innovations -- and Samsung does amazing in this regard!
We have to remember your trade INS are money also. You need to go to swappa and see what your trade in is going for and add that to what you paid for the new phone, that is the true cost of your new phone. What you're trading in is of value.

It's true, the promotional portion of the trade in is a savings. Sometimes I think we forget our trades are with money including me

I think that most of us look at it only from a cash flow perspective...whether buying from Samsung outright, or financing with Samsung or the carrier. I've done it both ways, and I prefer owning the device outright right from the jump.

I know most of us look at it that way. We usually forget that property is worth money and just look at the cost in can to us

You're right! I forget about that at times. Your current/old phone still has value and that can't be discounted. This passion of ours is expensive, regardless of how we rationalize our phone purchases!

I'm glad you like your phone as much as I like mine. :)
It is a great phone. I only have one real annoyance so far and it's more with Google Messages than anything else. I have my phone set up dual sim both Verizon sims one physical one e-sim. In Google Messages the secondary sim can't send or receive MMS. But it works fine in Samsung Messages. So like I said an annoyance but I don't usually need to and or receive a lot of MMS messages on my secondary sim.

I can see where that could be annoying. I've never used any dual SIM device, so that's not something that I would have thought about.
