Is the S7 edge screen easily scratched?

I don't understand all the skeptics on this thread - this phone is a scratch magnet. Granted, the scratches tend to be negligible surface marks and only visible if you're looking for them. Haven't had any serious scratches to date. I've babied this phone no more or less than previous phones and have never experienced this kind of scratching. Shame, because it's otherwise a great phone (other than TouchWiz which I still hate).

Glad both my phone and my wife's left the store in Zagg protectors, front and back. I much prefer the self healing protectors to the tempered glass ones. Those and minimal cases have been on the phones full time.

Quite a few very light scratches with a black screen, at the right angle, with the right lighting. Not noticeable during normal use and most people wouldn't notice unless I told them and showed them, even then some would say they don't see them. I'm very good to my phones, never lay them face down unless it's on a clean cushioned surface and rarely, if ever, drop them. I never use screen protectors anymore, don't like the feel or look of most of them. I'm usually OCD but have learned nothing is scratch proof. I use a very minimalistic case.

Just get a screen protector. I don't understand why people don't get those on any phone they have.

Even the tempered glass protectors don't feel as good as the naked glass on the phones.

Are we skeptics, or just not having the same issues with our screens?

Re: Is the S7 edge screen easily scratch?

I do have this problem on my s7 edge too and should I replace my screen to a new one???

It doesn't cover scratches???? like seriously???/ OH MYYY I do have a lot of scratches on my s7 edge screen...its quite deep scratch and im totally crazy about it

Had mine for 6 months , I used a nano liquid screen protector . Not even a surface stratch!!!!! And the phone lives in my pocket ...... 100 % honesty hear guys ......

There are a couple protectors out there, but they are the film kind. This is the the one I'm using now:

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Skin | Body and Screen Protection | Best Skins Ever

But I also tried this one:

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Screen Protector Case Friendly ArmorSuit Militaryshi | eBay

The Best Skins Ever one (first one) seems a bit clearer, and smoother to the touch. Of course they are film protectors, so they won't feel like the glass. But I think it's worth it to protect my phone.

I'm a Firefighter, so I definitely have to have something on it. I'm using the BSE one, and a Speck case. Been working find for me so far.

I am so careful with my phone but already have scratches (small and very minor) after less than 2 months. Looks like it's very easy to scratch. I went ahead and got the armorsuit screen protector. Worked perfect for me. Best one I have tired on s7 edge. Spigen went to garbage on the same night.
