Is the S8/S8+ your most favorite phone of all time?

You must not have had the barney edition that made all your pictures look purple. I loved everything about that phone but the camera sucked. I consider camera to be a pillar when evaluated phones and for that reason I can't call it my favorite. I think the S7 is probably my favorite phone I have owned. I don't own a S8 but have used one for a while and something about it didn't grab me like when I unboxed the S7.

No, the camera didn't have a purple haze, but it was the weakest part of the phone. On the other hand, I used to record live concert footage and the microphone was the first I've had that didn't clip the bass horribly. The HDR on the video was terrible, though. Overall, a beautful device, though. It felt like it was carved out of a piece of aluminum, which is basically was! If they could update this phone with no glaring weaknesses, I'd be on it in a second.

No. I think I liked the iPhone 7 Plus better. The only reason I'm sticking with the S8 is Samsung Pay, my Gear Fit2, and my Gear 360 (2017 version).

The Note 7. I wouldn't have an S8 Plus if I still had the Note 7.

Second I would probably have to say the S2. That was my first Samsung phone. It was top of the line at the time and an excellent device.

Third would be the S8 Plus.

What makes the Note 7 better than S8 Plus?

In terms of hardware and aesthetic value it's definitely s8+. But in terms of software it's my note 2. Because back then android isn't as secured as now. Back then you can pretty much do everything with your phone especially when rooted.

S2 was the real GAME CHANGER! It pretty much launched the Galaxy series and quickly became a favorite brand. This was when Apple was getting seriously worried.

Agree. This was my introduction to Samsung and I never looked back. Moved on to all the Notes starting with the 2. The Note 3 was my particular favorite.

Off topic: The worst phone I ever had was the Samsung/Android Galaxy Nexus. $800 pig lauded by ignorant tech writers particularly because of the open bootloader.

Profound lag. First appreciated the inferiority when comparing with a friend's Moto that was 1/3 the price and twice as fast.

Trash, trash, trash!

the Note 3 was my favorite phone. not because of it being a Note 3 itself but because it was my first Android phone. coming from the iPhone 4s I remember how excited I felt to have features and unheard of capabilities. I think the reason it is my favorite phone was based on the pure excitement I felt moving over to Android, the customization and the Spen. Ever since then all my phones have been fantastic and an evolution that has made the experience better.

As much as I love my S8+, my all time favorite phone was my Samsung Glyde. The first phone I bought myself out of high school, coming from a flip phone haha. That was the phone that started my obsession lol. Of current phones, with all the insane specs and capabilities, the S8+ has been my favorite with the Note 4 a close second.
