Did a quick search in the forum and couldn't find the answer, figured I'll create a new post. Is there any sim card slot on the Sprint version and will it work with Tmo in the US? And what frequency bands does it have? The seemingly odd reason behind this is that I want the black version, but it's not coming to Tmo, and Sprint has the cheapest off contract price on this phone.
Any input is greatly appreciated

The only reason it's the cheapest is that its locked to Sprint and since its a CDMA it wouldn't work on T-Mobile's GSM network anyways. CDMA phones can't be unlocked. I know that some Sprint phones have the sim slot but it won't do you any good. Hope I helped. You're welcome to send me more questions.

Some CDMA phones are dual mode hence, unlockable because LTE is basically a GSM technology.

Look at the note 2 on Verizon totally unlocked.

You are talking about Verizon and Samsung Note 2. This is about Sprint and so far I don't know about any unlocked Sprint phones. Thanks for the tip though, I never knew that.

Thanks guys, somehow I thought as long as I pay the full retail price, $549.99 in this case, the phone will be unlocked

You can buy a factory unlocked HTC ONE from negriel electronics because they have the cheapest phones. Or you can buy the one from AT&T and unlock it by paying $15 at cellunlocker.net

Wait I just read a new thread and it said the note 2 isnt able to work on other sims. He used it and it doesnt work. Its on the forums too.

If i buy the Htc one sprint without contract can i use it by other gsm carriers in other countries or can it be used in countries like india by cdma network reliance?

Yes SPRINT HTC ONE is a global phone. All you have to do is contact sprint international department and request to have it unlock. They will unlock it for you from their end. Thats it. I have spoken with the manager and thats what I was told. However, I havent had any international sim to verify the validity of it until after October when I am going back to my county in East Asia.

Here to second what Jon Phan said. My wife used her sprint iphone in Greece for a week with no problem. You call sprint and let them know you want the sim unlocked for international use and they will walk you through the process. You can't use it with tmobile or other US carriers but international works fine.
