Is there a camera app that's similar to iPhone camera

I've been a diehard Samsung girl for a long time now, but it seems like my daughter's iPhones take nicer, sharper, pictures, especially indoors. Is there an app that's better than the stock camera app (S9 Plus) and is of better quality (similar to iPhones)? I really dislike Apple products, but can't deny their phone camera quality.

Also, my face recognition (the little square that pops up around faces) doesn't work consistently. That's probably due to user error, I don't understand why sometimes the square pops up and other times it doesn't. Does anybody know how this works?

Hi, I think you can check in camera settings for correct face shape and I believe still have beauty mode . The iPhone camera is really good but once it gets dim the lights not so great . I'm not aware of any apps that can give those results your looking for like iPhone , maybe other members can chime in .

What kind of Samsung phone are you using? My friend has an S10 and the pictures are fantastic! But I do agree that iPhones take phenomenal pictures. I believe there is a Google Pixel-esque photo app in Google Play that does good work too. While not iPhone-esque, I've seen those edits get posted on here and they were great!

Try the Pixel Camera 3 port for the S9+ at https://www.xda-developers.com/download-google-camera-samsung-galaxy-note-9-samsung-galaxy-s9/ The low light function is better (but slow, since Google isn't selling its Pixel Core chip, so every other phone has to do the processing in the CPU). Facial recognition is also pretty good.
