I was trying to discover why only certain mp3 files were played on my FIRE HD10. The same folder/file structure on my Samsung S2 didn't have any problem playing the files or finding the music. Then I noticed that the FIRE MP3 player didn't display the full name of the file. It was truncated so the dot mp3 wasn't present. However, when I used the Android APP "File Manager" directly on the microSD file, it did show the complete name.
So I was speculating that perhaps there was a FIRE file system limitation that might truncate the name so the APP wouldn't see those with very long names and lose the mp3 file type.
