is there a fix for s4 cracking sound yet?

hey guys my son made me realize that he can't listen to music on his s4 cause as soon as you plug in the head phone jack it crackles and the music is low..

is this the headphone jack or issue??

Both. It sounds to me that there is an issue with the headphone jack.

But it could be with the headphones wire itself. Did he try them in another device?

ya tried lots and still the same..seems like it is a bug..

Does the crackling occur over the main speaker and Bluetooth headphones/speakers as well?

Make sure the headphone jack is completely clean. Use a can of compressed air to blow it out, or a damp toothpick to root around.
