Is there a market for a new 3D phone in the future?

Was just curious having come from the EVO 3d. I really loved my phone especially after it got the update to ICS. But was curious if anybody ever released another 3D phone, would there be a market for it? Or is it gonna always be considered a gimmick that will show very little interest for the average consumer. Me personally it's gonna depend on what the phone is overall like and what 3rd party support it has.

I think it is a gimmick. When I had an Evo 3d it was a cool feature to show people for like a week. After that I regretted not having a better regular camera as a result of the 3d feature.

That would be pretty neat if they did come out with another 3D phone. I feel like that it something that would take years down the road to perfect though.

I would love a 3D phone.

I wanted the evo 3d but sprint screwed me or if my upgrade with the changing of the premier program just a couple months before the 3d came out.

It's the reason I left them and I made sure I told them

After having the Evo 3D for almost 2 years now I'd say no. Almost no-one cares about 3D from what I can tell. It's ok to see once in a while but all the time? I doubt there are many people who wouldn't go insane from it.

Probably there isn't. It's like the nintendo 3d just come out huge in the beginning and the trend doesn't last anymore.

Don't think so. I had my evo 3d for 2 years I never used the 3d camera .
