Is there a setting to change folder appearance?

I just picked up my Verizon Edge yesterday. I'm amazed at how different Kit Kat 4.4 looks on the edge versus the Note 3 I upgraded from.

I don't care for the way the app folders look. Can't seem to find a setting. Maybe there isn't one...

Any ideas?

That sucks. The OEM folders on my note 3 with 4.4 were round and kind of 3D, where you could see the apps stacked behind each other. The folders on the Edge with 4.4 is just a 2D square with micro icons inside it. Very plain. Was hoping there was a setting. Boooo. Very boring :)

Agreed! The ONLY thing on this phone that feels like a downgrade.

Have you looked into nova launcher? I used that with my note 3 and now my edge. It gives you more control over your icon folders and appearance.

I have. I already own nova launcher prime. Was hoping to use OEM to keep the OS from getting bogged, but may have to switch to Nova to get the appearance I want. I'm curious to see how Nova reacts to the sidebar, if at all.
