Is there a way to change the location of the buttons on the screen during an active call?

[Android Central Question]

I don't even need the video call button. I use the speaker phone button during most calls, so I hold the phone in my left hand, face up. I could eliminate the video call button altogether. I really need to figure out something because I am constantly putting people on hold without knowing it, and then they give up and hang up.

Welcome to Android Central! I agree with mustang7757 -- you can't modify the interface for the stock Phone app, so you'd have to look for a 3rd party phone dialer app in the Play Store.

Another workaround would be to turn off the screen while you're on the call by pressing the Power button, and then turn it back on when you need to access the screen.
