Is there a way to clear the cache specfically on the EVO?

Best program for clearing cache is Quick App Clean Cache. It's about 80 cents, and has one click clean without root. I use it everyday for my EVO, and never lets me down.

Oh well. Guess I've been rooted so long didn't notice. Or didn't care.

I just do it the "Regular" way. From any webpage press menu - more - settings and scroll down to cache/cookies/history and clear all.

Just a few minutes ago I was having issue posting - the browser wouldn't load at all even though I had good 4g connection - clearing cache/cookies/history sure did fix that problem.

No. Clockwork will wipe the old OS so you can flash the new one. For rooted users I strongly suggest Quick Clean App Cache. It's in the market.

Best way & free is a app called App 2 SD free, It does what it says & also it you can clear all your cache with it. No root required! There is also a pro version.
