Is there a way to force the stock dialer into landscape?

So I cut up my old Droid X car dock and make a dock for my Droid Turbo.

But it looks like the stock dialer doesn't do landscape by default. I want to be able to dial in landscape and have the caller image in landscape. is this possible with a setting I am missing? Is there a good 3rd party dialer maybe?

I use the Set Orientation app to achieve that.. works great for me
