Is there a way to get silent mode on my 5.0.2 (from lock screen)?

Silent Mode on 5.0.2 (from lock screen)

Hi,

Did anyone ever find a workable way to bring back silent mode from the power key (or volume keys?) I'd even settle for using the notification bar if I could use it worth the lock screen on PIN/pattern lock!

The fix released with 5.1 sounds good to me, but I think I'm stuck with 5.0.2 on my Galaxy A3 (correct me if I'm wrong ) and I don't want to do anything too drastic like rooting.
