One thing that I miss from CyanogenMod is the ability to add things to the quick settings menu. Is there an app available that will allow you to modify the quick settings menu on stock Android? My phone is rooted so but otherwise it's stock. I don't miss the instability of CyanogenMod, just that one feature, so I don't want to install a custom ROM, I just want to add a couple of things to the quick settings menu.

It doesn't work, I'm getting a system framework nor responding error.

I did the following,

Installed the Xposed Installer
Installed the framework
rebooted
Installed Gravitybox
rebooted
Lauched Gravitybox, it failed.

Is there a step that I missed?

7) Run Xposed installer, go to Modules menu and activate GravityBox by checking the checkbox

Thanks, that works. Now can you tell me how XMultiwindow works. The instructions talk about about clicking a preference item to open a Float Circle. What preference item? What float circle?

I found a solution that works even better for me. I installed "Power Toggles" https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...pps/details?id=com.painless.pc&token=wAec9PPt
It is free, has no ads, no root, and has an option to place itself "permanently" in the notification tray. Then you can have one or two lines of controls and put just about anything on it- switches, volume controls, toggles, flashlight, apps, etc. PLUS it can display the battery percent on the top line of the home screen! I really love it- you might want to check it out.
