From past experiences, I have used the power too much that it ended up breaking after a year.. Is there a script that will do a shutdown/reboot?
You can get an app that does that.

Its under warranty just get it replaced.
Seriously?! Do I just call T- Mobile on it then?
Install a terminal emulator like this one.
Start it.
To reboot type in:
reboot
To shut down type in:
reboot -p
No, you don't need to be rooted to use the terminal emulator. Give this one a try: https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...details?id=jackpal.androidterm&token=o55V7NcX
Only reboot, as you won't be able to turn the device on if the power button is broken.

I'm trying to figure out why you posted a question about a HTC One S in the Droid MAXX forum...
Sign out of your Google Account then sign back in (via the hone). Try to re-download it and see if that helps.I have tried to install the APK with Airdroid, email, and the Google store with my phone and also through my laptop, going to the store. Nothing works because it gets stuck on "installing" but nothing happens. I wonder if I just reset my phone and erase all my data. I hope that this is the right thing to do....![]()
