is there any kind of visual notification app for the X?

looking for an app that would kind of mimic the red asterisk on top of the main app icons on my blackberry storm. this would be extremely helpful...thanks in advance.

what are you wanting notifications in?

you can download sms unread count which is a widget that will show badges on a 1x1 widget

iirc it will do gmail, sms/mms, and phone.

also, launcherpro can have badges for those things on a dock icon as well.

I came from a BB storm2 and I can feel ya on the red asterisk, however I think the notifications that show up in the notification bar at the top do a pretty good job. You are notified for email,gmail,calendar,googetalk,google voice, text, missed calls etc. It does a pretty good job in comparison to a bb.
