I have a Xoom, just bought my daughter an Asus transformer...we are both avid readers, she is cheap (lol)! Is there any way for us to 'share' my Amazon acct so as both of our tabs can access the books via our kindle apps????

Yes. Just use the same Amazon account login on the Kindle apps on both devices.

Sent from my rotary phone

We tried that but it created another acct...my acct is named Android 1 and somehow it created another acct and named it android 2 all by itself!!!! Then, when we tried to download a sample book, we were asked if we wanted the sample sent to android 1 or android 2???

That is just letting you know that you have more than one device registered on your account. From your daughters asus login to the kindle app with your account then click on archive and it will show all your purchased ebooks.

i have 6 devices on my amazon account and can get any of my books on any device.
i believe you are allowed up to 10 devices on one account.

Working as intended... you can have multiple devices on an account... Google Play and Amazon Appstore will ask you which device gets the download.

Also: you can "remote" download to your devices from the internet. Go to Play / App store, select app, select device and you are good to go. I order things to my Xoom all the time when I'm at work and I find a book / app that I want -- send it to the tablet, it's waiting for me when I get home.

I love living "in the future!"
