Is there is an app that will record only one side of a phone call (not my side)?

I often need to edit myself out of phone conversations. Is it possible there is an app that would mute my end and record only the incoming voice? Thank you!

I know in play store they have some apps for this , not sure if any of them would be what your looking for . You can always try them and see. But we can wait for other members here to chime in once they see the post .

Definitely no problem, yeah just to record the other side going be tough, but let's see if anyone else knows .

A device to do that costs in the thousands of dollars for a cheap one, so basically the answer is no. If there's no overlap at any point (no places where you're both speaking at once), Audacity (on a PC running anything) will let you cut the parts with you speaking, or let you reduce the volume of those parts to 0, leaving silence. But if you're both speaking at the same time, no.

(Ringtone Maker will do the same thing in Android, but you may smash your phone before you're through - phones aren't really made for that kind of mouse work.)
