Is there removable protective plastic hiding? (EDIT: Only the plastic covering the whole device.)

Just got my 2013 Nexus 7 and am wondering if there is any more protective plastic on the device I can take off, besides the plastic covering the whole device.

I suspect there may be some over the back camera and along the beveled edge?

(EDIT: Just had some initial misconceptions)

I kind of wish that it came with a screen protector like on the nexus 4. Saves me from buying one but im not taking the plastic off mine until i can find a decent screen protector though. Also is the screen gorilla glass 2 or 3?

No gorilla glass at all. No plastic stick-ons. No screen protectors or cases in stores.
Treat this baby like a baby.

When I finally got home, I realized the camera was just a bit dirty and wiped it off. As for the edge, it just had the appearance of plastic covering, and if you look closely you can kind of see the adhesive in the crack. But I'd expect that from a cheaper tablet, although overall the build quality is great. Just not quite as seamless as the more expensive iPad.

My N7 that I got today at Staples has protective plastic on the POWER and VOLUME up/down buttons.

I just removed a little blue piece of plastic that was peeling off the power button of my Staples N7, too.
