Both with default font, medium size. Notice the additional information shown on the note 5. Also the note 5 allows for 8 notifications before overflow in the notification bar , note 4, 6 notifications

I rarely take out my reading glasses to use my Note 4...
When I was playing with the Note 5, I had to put on my
reading glasses. Didn't even occur to my that the Note 5
had smaller fonts. I just thought it was time for me to get
stronger reading glasses.

You can increase the font size or change the font.

Its not like that... The actual pixel density is the same. They just scaled things so there's a bit more info on the screen.

The Note 5 is an entire trend setting .07707 of a percent more dense. If we are generous, that rounds to 1%.

It is.. my man here runs a low density value to squish everything on to the QHD screen on his G3.

480 DPI! The way a phablet with a QHD screen should be run!
