Issue with my Note 2.......

First of all my Note has been rooted for quiet some time. Using Carbon Rom 0903. Last week I decided to encrypt my phone. Rom did fine, no major issues. Found out you had to do a factory wipe to get rid of encryption. Did that and re installed rom. First time I tried to reboot it stuck on Galaxy Note 2 screen. Had to pull the battery, boot into TWRP, format for the rom to install. I haven't turned it off since. I'd rather not have to do that again. Can anyone help me with this? Oh and when I try to use google maps it doesn't pick me up on gps.
