Issue with restoring Myn's Warm

Hey guys,

So I used Myn's warm RLS4 for a while. Then tried the latest Fresh, then tried VP3.0, and Evio2. I tried to restore a nandroid for Myn's warm, and it wouldn't work. I could restore VP3.0, flash Evio2, flash other ROMs, but I could also not flash Myn's successfully again. The symptoms I saw were a frozen htc EVO 4G white screen.

I was using Clockwork recovery, could that have been the problem with a failure to clear Dalvik properly? I never had an issue before with flashing Myn's and with restoring nandroid, why suddenly now?

I've since flashed Amon Ra, and I'm going to wait some time until I get bored with my current setup before flashing another ROM. But does Clockwork+Dalvik not completely cleared explain the symptoms I described?

This sounds more like a kernel problem than a dalvik cache problem.

I see.

When flashing a new rom, doesn't it come with the kernel contained within the rom?
