Issues with Google Maps anyone?

Yea Im Having Problems With mines too it loads super slow.. and freezes and locks up.. hopefully they can do a software update soon

Today's update fixed it for me. Go get it! :)

Oh freak yeah!! that update made GM better for me... still buggy when running on 3g but im testing it inside my house so hopefully being outside or in my car (when i really need to use GM) would be better.

WOO-HOO! Google Maps just got updated a short while ago today! I updated and now Google Maps is working like a champ!!! Thanks Google!

Now I can finally say that my HTC EVO 4G LTE works 100%. I've tested every feature and they work beautifully!

All they need to do is fix the battery issue and proximity sensor then ill start to love this phone.

Gonna try out juice defender for battery issue. anyone tried that on their device?

Battery issue? Proximity sensor? What's wrong with them? The battery works great. It lasts a long time. The Proximity sensor is working fine, but maybe I just haven't gotten into a scenario where it borks on me. Care to explain?

Do you have screen protector on your evo ? And what battery issues are you referring too..

I am seeing battery to be great on my phone and no (zero) issues with proximity sendor. My Evo is naked

I put an invisishield hd the day I got it but o refuse to believe that a thin piece of plastic would affect it. I also put on a carbon fiber sticker on the back to hide the two tone coloring.

Here is what my battery looks like as of right now. Am I on pace for a 2nd charge by this afternoon?

I read another thread where folks had to cut the screen protector a bit more around the prox sensor.. as the shields are interfering apparently.

My battery is lasting quite well.. I noticed you have Maps as #2 batter y eater.. I think taht should be expected if yo uare using maps for a long time - no ?

correct me if im wrong but the proximity sensor is about a centimeter to the left of the HTC word right? If so then the hd shield isnt covering it at all. I do notice a little red dot just to the left of that whenver i make a phone call. IS THAT the proximity sensor? if so, that part IS covered up.

I only open maps to test out the fact that GM is finally working properly, i havent used it to find any directions or anything so therefore I havent been using it for a long time, no more than a minute.

BTW I dont see that there is an "exit program" button in GM. either that or i just dont know where to look. So the way to close out GM is to press the multitask button and swipe it off i assume? Even after doing that, i go into my "battery use" screen and it still shows GM as my 2nd most used app. what gives?

I think that is telling you that it's #2 since last charge.. and yes, I swipe it out too. BTW, GM just pushed out an update :) on Play
