I had a dream my phone was shipped to Poland! AYEE....It is due to be delivered today, currently sitting 5 miles away cant wait!

With FedEx you never know.

A number of years ago a FedEx ground shipment from my company's New Jersey location to our corporate office in Eastern Pennsylvania was sent to Europe by mistake. Then the shipment was lost. Good thing I had insured it for it's replacement value. After I filed a claim with FedEx (after a month missing) they searched their warehouse in Memphis,TN (I call it the Lost & Found). They found the package in that warehouse only because the box had a unique company name on it and they would have had to make good on a BIG insurance claim for the lost package.

After this episode, I tried to avoid using FedEx as much as possible. Anyway, your phone could take a trip to Europe. If that happens, have FedEx pay your expenses for you and a friend to go look for it.

I got the notification email last night around 11pm and it is already in my town at the sorting facility. It came from Memphis. I am supposed to leave town so I called and they are gonna hold it there for me to go pick up. Woohoo!!!

Update...dumb fed ex. I checked the website again and now it said out for delivery. I call back from my phone and it disconnects me whenever being transferred to rep. 4 times! I call with my wife's phone...right thru. (they kept a record of my phone #? One call per number?) they say to me "Verizon won't allow us to hold it until one delivery attempt is made.". I'm like "bull...I have done this before. They only want a signature. If u made a mistake...just admit it.". So now I'm waiting again...and hopefully it comes before I have to leave town.

UPS rules...fed ex drools.

FedEx sucks. Why did my phone arrive at a sorting facility over an hour away this morning when they usually go to a facility only 20 mins away before they get delivered?

They better deliver today!

If they had used UPS I would have gotten it yesterday!

I am right with you man. Same boat. My phone is now in Philly, coming from Coatsville - both no more than an hour away. So its been there for a day now. UPS would have had this phone here yesterday, no doubt.

ok...so, I got my tracking number, and on verizon site it said ship date was 7/5...but on fedex it shows it's today and it hasn't even started shipping yet, and even though it's overnight, shows delivery not til Tuesday, wtf

Mine is in transit..left COATSVILLE PA at 4pm last nite..eta still says july 9th..i really really hope it gets here today..i live near the poconos..sucks i cant pick it up..a lil over an hour drive there.im trying.not to get my hopes up bc i have a feeling bc of this 2 day delivery crap ill see it Monday..damn verizon i wanted to play with it on my weekend off

Edit: I live in Charlotte, NC and preorder mine on the 6/6 and my wifes on 6/11. Both are over nighting today.

FedEx requires making at least one delivery attempt before you can pick it up at their depot. So, no. Sorry. Wish we could.

Ok so mine got picked up on the 4th it is now the 6th and it's still sitting in pa wtf. I called FedEx they said that it's more then likely just sitting there in pa to come down to va to get to me on the 9th.

FedEx delivers on Saturdays as a normal day. I wonder why their 2 day would not be delivered on Saturday?

Interesting... My S3 shipped out this morning w/ standard overnight delivery, with an expected delivery date of 7/9/12, however, according to FedEx, Saturday is a normal delivery day. Not really sure why my overnight shipping would say Monday when Saturday is a normal delivery day?

I checked Fedex and I says package arrived at local office at 3am with delivery scheduled for Monday by 7pm. I was thinking no way they are going to let phone sit in warehouse all weekend are they? So I called and it's on van for delivery, they are not updating the tracking information for some reason!
