The glass on my G5 broke 4 or 5 months after release so the glass was already available. Don't know how soon after release it actually came out. Don't understand why it's not available through LG since they obviously have the glass for new ones.
I would put pressure on LG.

Fixez has the lcd and digitizer, as well as the FPS so I don't get why there isn't a replacement piece available yet.

I did call LG one day and told them I knew what part I needed and asked if I could just buy it and fix it myself and they wouldn't sell it to me. I was told I had to send the device in. Bs. If I can fix it, let me. Not like it's gonna effect the warranty on the device that is already broken anyway, so....

Repaired mine on the G5 and then I sent it in for another repair a month later... They never knew the difference since you can replace it externally. LG would have you believe they need to take it apart.

FYI or word of caution for folks using VPN's that see data or apps using any data that quit working and say things about being disconnected from data or internet:
Preface; I have used several VPN's in an effort to keep my accounts safe and phone clean of many nafarious intrusions. Most & currently used are
1. Orbot Proxy & VPN
2. Opera Max data saver VPN & Privacy.
Problem; Non issue in all past Samsung devices all T-Mobile variants on OS'es up to and including 6.1.1 Marsmallow & this problem was not present on S2's, S4 's, S5's 10.1 Galaxy Tab. Also used in a popular BlueStacks latest version 2.1 IIRC android emulator on Dell Laptop with Windows 10 no issues.
Symptom:
V20 will not allow data to all apps if you have any VPN settings set to run on phone start up and you turn VPN to off but have setting for apps & or bridges turned on and apps you are trying to use checkboxes selected. ALSO if you turn VPN app off quickly when it is starting up it may look turned off in the GUI in the respective app but is really on but not running correctly. The quick drop down settings menu has a key and notification bar displayed if VPN is active and you can select the VPN on warning stating where it says "Data may be monitored" which displays a list of installed and status either running or not of all VPN's. To my horror I found both of mine running at different times when the app had said it was shut down upon exit from app after turing app off during VPN's startup. Discovery event was my phone would not do anything and gave mentioned above notices about 95% of the time the better part of a day requiring data on mobile connection. Weirdly Amazon app would open and display my cart correctly but would not work under menu item "My orders" when attempting several times.
