Its Friday, anyone get their D3 Yet?

I just couldn't stand it anymore. I had to order me a D3 to, once and for all, put my the OG Droid chapter of my life to rest. I had been waiting to see what the Bionic has to offer, but I decided that I'd rather have this phone, with the 4" screen, physical keyboard and (probably) better stability and battery life than the current LTE phones can offer. The Bionic will probably be a great phone, but it's still going to be sporting 1st Gen LTE tech under the hood and I think I'd rather jump on the LTE bandwagon after it's better established a year or two down the road. Besides, I realized that I've never really had problems with the data speed of my OG Droid, just problems with the processing power. So, in a few days (Tuesday, perhaps?), I'll be the proud owner of a shiny new Droid 3. I can't wait!

About the screen, how *dim* can it get? When traveling I often watch a show in bed while my wife falls asleep, I don't want it too bright when turned down all the way.

The dimmest setting is on par with my OG Droid at the dimmest setting. Not sure if that comparison helps.
