It's happening!!! Free DNA says - we are going to have a new HTC device!!!

I bought the phone up front and got truely unlimited ($70) with insurance ($8) for $78/month with no contract.
For $50/ month you get throttled unlimited.
If you don't buy the phone up front add $20/month to the plans above, contract, and $199 or whatever the deal is you pay to get the phone.

A lot better than having to buy the DNA up front to keep my unlimited (for $115/mo ($230 fam plan))! I thank them for giving me the runaround about buying it up front. Went to multiple stores that said they had them in stock a month ago, only to get there and be denied when I told them I want to buy it outright.

Why wouldn't they sell it outright?

Verizon has until 6/17 when my contract is up, unless someone buys my unlimited data plan on craigslist for $200 before then.

I pulled the trigger 2 weeks ago and have no regrets leaving Verizon. I've got my unlimited plan up for sale on eBay!

Was in the AT&T store yesterday and almost did also. Was going to gather up the pile of old devices and bring them over to offset the ETF. I think I can wait until the end of July if need be to stay, dont know if I can last much longer than that.

I took a really old Blackberry, and iPhone 3G and my HTC Incredible in for a $300 gift card. Used it for the 64GB HTC One and still made $50 on the deal!!

The longer HTC and Verizon wait to announce this, the more and more people they're going to lose to the S4 or other carriers.

Agree 100%... I'm one of those people who packed my bags and said "Adios!" to slow updates and crummy phone selection.

From TechnoBuffalo - Verizon HTC One Confirmed in Leak | TechnoBuffalo I hope this is true, because I almost pulled the trigger on AT&T this weekend.....

Pull it!! You won't regret it!! Even if they announce the One for Verizon, it won't be available for at least a few months.

I really want to leave Verizon, the only thing stopping me is my girlfriend, she always get so mad when I get new phones, especially since I've only had my current one since November. In my mind it's not worth starting a fight over, so I guess I'm stuck for a bit?

Dude, she is only your girlfriend. Save that battle to lose for when you are married. Just a word from the wise.

Man what the hell, she isn't your wife.

Bro just a word of advice. You are technically still single, and if you want to switch, just switch. Its your money and your life. Im a married man, I been through 5 phones the last 3 months until I finally settled on my S4. And my wife went and got the S4 for me on release day early morning cause I was worried they were gonna run out. If your girl loves you she will get over it.

Take the girlfriend to AT&T and ask if they'll give you an HTC One for free if you trade her in.

I am so jealous of all of you that get to jump ship and go to a different carrier - I'm on a family plan and do not have the income to go off on my own. When it comes to Android devices, at least in terms of launch dates and such - Verizon sucks. I'm still going to pretend they're going to get the One next month (read it on a site, but I'm not too optimistic). If not, with their current inventory, I'm either getting the DNA or the S4. :'(

You could consider the Note 3 as well. I really enjoyed my Note 2. Like really enjoyed it. I'd have stuck with that device if it wasn't for the highlights the One offers. It makes posting pictures of my daughter on G+ a lot easier.

I do like the Note, but it seems almost TOO big for me. I'll definitely be reading reviews and rumors about the 3 as August approaches .. but I'm not sure I can wait an extra 5 weeks past my upgrade eligibility with this iTurd.

I felt the same way before I had my Note 2. The battery life blew me away though, and I could still put the device in my pocket with a UAG case on it. The holding out would be the worst part of it IMO, however I'm not you.

You can still sell a Razr Maxx HD on Swappa or elsewhere for a pretty decent sum. There are not very many on the resale market, so you can ask a good price.

My iTurd is driving me nuts; I'm definitely not going to wait a day past July 7th. Any high-end Android phone Big Red has will be better than what I have now. I'm just really silently praying for something new to release this month.

My iPhone 4S is on its last legs. Get about 6 hours on a charge. By July 4th I'll have a new device for sure. Want the HTC One, would settle for Galaxy S4 w/32GB

My 4S still works okay as far as iOS is concerned. But my home button is very sticky and clicky now (which drives me nuts) and my power button broke internally. But as the days go by it gets more and more aggravating. I took it into the Apple store a couple of months ago. They took it into the back room, took it apart, and was like, "yeah, the spring broke inside; hardware failure. $200 to fix it." I was like yeah, no. In 36 days, I will either have an S4 or the DNA+/One. Hoping for the latter and they release a new HTC phone on Verizon this month.
