It's not the torso twist but equally annoying

So, whenever I start a workout, at some point within the first few minutes, I get a notification that the heart monitor will work better if the strap is strangling my wrist.

Okay, it doesn't quite say that, but if I make the strap any tighter than it already is, that is how I will feel.

Does this happen to anyone else and if so, does anyone know how to make it stop? If I don't clear it, it will stop keeping time on my workout.

You are only seeing half of the stupid message. Next time you see it, scroll down with the bezel and you will see an option to turn it off permanently.

I did check the notification and did see where I could tap to not show again. Thanks for the tip.

Crummy steps though again today during my workout. Back to having my phone hanging on me to catch missed steps.

I updated apps in the play store this morning. Then when I was done working out I saw more stinking apps in the play store "pending" update. Not sure why they sit there when I have my settings to auto update.

Mine stay pending until I've got WiFi. I think you can change that, but I keep it like that to save a bit of data allowance.

I have my play store apps to update over any network. Like my watch, sometimes they update, sometimes not. Sometimes my step tracker works. Sometimes not.

One thing that Fitbit used to say was to make sure you are not wearing the watch on the big round wrist bone on the outside of the wrist. This took time for me to get used to because it felt weird wearing it higher on the arm, even though its just 1/4 inch. It did make a huge difference and may do so on Galaxy. I believe Skatergirl is already doing this and it didn't help but it may help for some if you snug it up positioned line this. What gets me is Samsung will say snug it up but I see online you should be able to get your pinky under the band or its too tight. So much varied infirmation.. And I switched to Galaxy because I thought there would be less of this than I had on the Ionic. The Galaxy works better for me but there are things I miss from the Ionic (their health app and sleep tracking is better).

A magnetic strap might be a solution to that strangling feeling, I'm considering one myself
