Moving up from my galaxy s5. I'm not a fancy person, I don't like edge displays and I want something that has a regular headphone port. I would really love a removable battery although I understand most phones don't have them anymore.

I simply want a durable phone with good battery life, with two caveats:

1. It doesn't wake me up at night with a vibration/sound when the battery fully charges (if I can disable it using an app/setting that's fine).

2. A good camera-I don't care for megapixels, but the problem with the s4 is that it you can't manually focus the camera and it does a very lousy job taking pictures in the dark or up close.

Thank you!

Pixel 3a or 3a XL? No removable battery, but from all reports, battery life is better than the flagship 3 series, the camera is a Pixel camera ('nuff said), and it doesn't give you a notification when the battery is full.

Since the back is plastic instead of glass, it'll also be less fragile.

3A/3A XL in a great case sounds like a winner. Also- you probably shouldn't be charging your phone overnight anyway.
