I've got a Nexus 6P here, lets get some questions going!

I read one review that the power button on the side is extremely sensitivity and one reviewer said he had been accidentally shutting off the phone when he didn't mean to. What has your experience been with it?

It's crazy fast, but you have to be careful about setting up the six images it captures to map your finger in order to get all of it. The placement is great for everything but in the car.

This is pretty easily addressed via Smart Lock, assuming you have a Bluetooth-equipped car. I do this with my N5, and the side power button is easy enough to turn on the screen if needed.

The only feature difference is a fingerprint sensor and missing wireless charging. It's smaller, and perfectly capable, but the N6 is still a good phone. It'll really boil down to how you prefer the exterior for most.

Honestly, based on this answer... unless there is something else amazing as yet to be discovered, I'll hold onto my N6 for another year. Losing wireless charging to gain a fingerprint scanner doesn't scream "upgrade NOW" to me.

I've used it on Verizon so far, and it's been great. Gets me through a day, but I've only had it for two so far. It's probably close to the G4 if I had to compare it, but I'm not ready to say anything definitive.
Since your using it on Verizon how does the reception compare to N6 and Moto XPE? N6 was better then the g3 for me, the XPE was even better but I returned it to wait for the N6P. That's my only real worry. Moto sets the bar high

Can you tell me if the 'fast charging' is actually Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 or another, proprietary fast charging system? I've spent a bunch of money on QC 2.0 for my Nexus 6 and don't want to have to buy new accessories.

Does the Nexus 6P have a modified DPI like the Note 5 - accommodating more icons, lines of text, etc - or everything is just big like the S6 / Moto X setup ?

Any news on signal strength, specifically in poor-reception areas?

I have an HTC M8 now and at work I'm on the border of no signal so anything worse would not cut it. I tried an LG G4 and it was slightly better than my M8

I'm also interested in this as well as the performance of the GPS. Currently have the N5 and rather annoyed that ever since Lollipop that the GPS hardly ever works right without restarting the phone first. It's a known bug that Google has finally acknowledged and intends to EVENTUALLY fix. With my N5 I have to leave the phone on my dashboard with a completely unobstructed view in order to get a lock. The second I pick up the phone and put it in a position where I can read it, it looses the GPS lock.

Also with my N5 if I have the GPS going and streaming music (stored locally) a lot of times the phone discharges (although slowly) while on a 2A charger which should be more than sufficient to charge it while doing those things.

Hello and thank you for answering some questions about the 6P =)

I was wondering what the graphite finish is like? Do you think it will scratch easily?

Thanks.

I'm honestly not using it much, because the fingerprint sensor is so good. I wouldn't say it is overly sensitive though.

It's also really addressed by setting up your finger well...

You can rapidly charge with a QC charger. I haven't gotten 3a output yet, will hopefully have more information soon.

Wouldn't even mildly OCD people be compelled to wipe the glass across the rear camera before every shot, which would probably make it worse. They have obviously got the optics right. It just seems a design compromise, though it's probably fine in practice.
Catch yourself checking it for smudges?

I checked the first day, but haven't bothered since. It hasn't been a problem so far.

Kinda out of the left field perhaps, but just curious; what size of SIM card does it use for Verizon? I'm guessing they're going with 3ff NFC, but the moto nexus 6 I believe had a Nano SIM 4ff NFC. Just curious if I need to bring a SIM card home from work, or just use the one in my Note 4 :P

With the slow motion, can you edit where the slow motion starts and ends, like on the iPhone or is the entire clip recorded in 240FPS?

i saw clips on you tube where they went from fast to slow....so yeah, it can be done during the recording
