Nope, I'm still in the hot seat. Happy for you though, I hope you enjoy it come next week. So, maybe Goodeye is on to something, you should share that email that magically made things work for you. Form letter for disgruntled customers.

"Please resolve this issue quickly and ship my order out as soon as possible. I've had my order say that it was "shipped" since Sunday and was provided a UPS number at the same time. This was VERY misleading as it's been a week since I've ordered the product (which was within the first hour of launch) and have not had my UPS tracking updated at all. I personally know people who have ordered it at the same time, and after me and have already received their product. This is my first time purchasing a product off Google's website and it has been an extremely frustrating experience. I am becoming impatient and would like to receive my Nexus 5 device immediately.

That was a response to my response saying that "others were getting it earlier should I have to cancel and reorder?"

Basically admitting it's completely random.

That's terrible service. Did you demand a refund in shipping or at least free one day? They just admitted to shipping orders that were placed after yours!

I just sent a "sternly" worded response back about it being such a horrible experience and actually called him out on the response that it admits if I cancel there is a chance I'll actually get it earlier that what I would have otherwise. I'll see what "Dylan's" response is and then follow up with something like that if appropriate.

Google def needs to partner with a bigger retail to help take mass orders or at least help shop them. Its 2nd year in a row they've messed up a launch

Basically if person A orders, then B, then C, then D and person A, and C's Nexus is is warehouse A, and person B and D's Nexus in warehouse B and person B cancels their order for some reason. Person D would get bumped up into person B's spot. Then person A's would get shipped out, then person D, then person C. Even if person C ordered first, person D might get their Nexus before person C. I hope that kind of clears up the air a bit.

That's BS the warehouse should know to fulfill orders based on the order it was received. He keeps admitting fault basically lol

Yeah I think I'm going to respond tomorrow morning. I'll likely get someone different and call them out and see what they can do and go from there.
 
With reading of successes of people canceling orders they made on the 31st, placing new orders and now getting ship confirmations I went ahead and canceled my order. The new ship date has it pushed out to Dec, but I'm hoping to get lucky and get a ship confirmation like others have had.
 
Did anyone's order go past the promised ship date yet without them getting a shipping notification?
 
Argh just checked my UPS tracking and my N5 is 20min from my house...guess I'm dreaming thinking they'd deliver tomorrow Sat...of course it would have to be a long weekend :(

I ordered a 32gb Black on November 1 at 8am CST. Up until today the main summary page of my purchased devices said ships in 2-3 weeks. Today when I look at my summary of device purchase it was updated today to say "Leaves warehouse by November 22, 2013" but when I go into the order it says it will ship on November 22. I just checked my credit card and there is a pending transaction (the initial one dropped off after two days) so I'm fairly certain mine will be shipping out on Monday or Tuesday.

Here is something to consider. There are 4 different phones that are getting shipped out. Phones will be shipped out based on what is in stock and also when the stock is replenished. I would assume phones will be shipped in the order the orders were received but shipping will be based on what is currently in stock. So it's quite possible someone who ordered a white 32GB (least popular=most stock) could easily get theirs much sooner than someone who ordered the 16gb Black (most popular=less stock).

Unfortunately there are many factors and since not everyone is posting specifics of the orders it is too hard to say if there truly is an issue with prioritizing of shipping.
 
I did place an order for the 16gb black. I got all thrown off and thought it had an SD card. Called Google and cancelled my order. I will place on order for the 32gb later today. My S3 crapped out last night. Waiting on a new power switch from eBay.
 
So the charge isn't pending on my card (it doesn't even show) though the amount is not back on my card either. I hope this means that it's prepping for shipment and I'll get a shipment notice soon.

I'm still really ticked off about what I was told via email last night.
