Hey.My Dad is in New York .Im currently studying overseas.My dad will be leaving to meet me in a weeks time.Can the shipping of the phone be made in this one week if my dad orders it today? Will it be tight. P.S. I really need a good phone ASAP

It's my first Android so I am double excited since the Plattform is new.
So my first days will be spend finding my way around it, finding important apps. etc.

well that's a great first phone.
Also though the playstore says leaving till, it is already shipped.
Same with me. the playstore says: leaving warehouse on 29th. But I already have the UPS tracking and it's in delivery.

Edit: it arrived and I still have 2 hours till I can go home. Ugh!

I got my shipping notification on Wednesday I believe it was. It said it would be here in 4 business days, which I calculate to be: Friday (since thurs was thanksgiving), Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. That would be my being generous and NOT including the day it actually shipped as one of those days. However, it says it's estimated to arrive on Thursday of next week. I guess they think i'm too stupid to count OR, they don't consider Friday, Monday, Tues, or Wed as a business day.

UPS is not doing any ground shipping on Friday (today) only air so you may have to add a day.

Good to know! Thank you. Now I wont waste my time checking for updates in my package tracking.

Not a big fan of UPS though. Seems like every time I order a package from them, there's always a reason that they will be taking longer than what seems logical. Even in the middle of the year when there's no holidays.

I ordered a Black 32GB, due to get shipped on the 11th. I'm interested to see how it compares to my Htc One which among other things, has the most useless buttons on any phone I've had.
I'll keep my Nexus 4 for work as it's a great phone to use and replace the Htc with the Nexus 5 for personal use.
Htc One will then be sold.
