Same exact situation. Still on UPS ground truck. West coast?
Yep, Las Vegas. Close enough to the WC. The tracking says the 27th is he day it is supposed to arrive and it says it is going to be on time but just no tracking updates. I thought UPS was better than USPS.
 
I ordered a black 32gb on 11/22/13 and at some point tonight my credit card hold dropped off but my order still shows pending. Has anyone else had this experience? It sounds different than the people who received double holds, unless I will be getting another hold soon and shipping thereafter.

As a side note mine has stated since ordering that it would leave warehouse by 12/3/13 like many others.

Woohoo!

Ordered black 32gb on 11-15-13 and it had a date of 12-3-13 for leaving the warehouse. Woke up this morning and got an email from Google saying it shipped! I have two day shipping so maybe tomorrow or Friday.

I'll report back nice it is in hand.

I ordered a 16gb, and canceled it. It was about $400 with shipping and tax...

You can always order and cancel if it doesn't work for you.

Ordered 11/20/13 and received my shipping notice this morning! Should get it by tomorrow!

Edit: Ordered the black 32GB phone.

Ordered a 32GB black on Nov 8th and STILL waiting on something to happen other than "pending". Date for shipment still says Dec. 11th.

I don't understand how people ordering the same exact phone at a later date are already getting shipping notices, and my order has not changed one bit since I placed the order.

Same date, same problem, same color, different storage option. Customer support is of no help. Second charge on the card since Saturday the 23rd. Getting no answers. Guess getting any notice of shipment won't happen after Thanksgiving has past. This will be the last time ordering a phone, or device rather, on such high demand from Google after ordering two phones from them. They should know better when the Nexus 4 was released.

My sentiments exactly. I passed on the Nexus 4 due to all of the long wait times.
 
Right there in the boat with you guys..

Ordered a 32gb Black on 11/8. Sill no shipping info.. Estimated ship date is 12/11. This is so frustrating! I know a guy who ordered the same unit as me YESTERDAY and received tracking information TODAY. As an avid iPhone user, I don't think I can purchase another phone from the Play Store. This is just ridiculous and unfair. Grrrr!
 
I don't understand why those who ordered early in the month have shipment info for the 11th of December. I ordered on the 22nd and it says will ship by Dec 3rd. Seems to me you guys should have the Dec 3rd date and I should have the Dec 11th date. I don't understand how their shipping method works........

That being said, I would love nothing more than to have my N5 asap.
 
Wow, mine just got upgraded to delivery tomorrow. Looks like I'm getting over night shipping and not two day!


So far, this one has come a week early. My Nexus 4 experience wasn't as early.

For those still waiting... On my N4
I had to wait until the "leaves warehouse" date. And even then, it didn't leave until the 11th hour..

Same here, ordered on the 8th, card was charged almost instantly then the charge was released, card was charged again on the 22nd and that second charge has also fell off the card as of this morning. Called CustServ, supposedly according to their 'system' they see the charge still pending. Read on XDA that some people noticed the second charge had disappeared only to be completed within 24hrs due to Google batch processing orders.

As to people who have ordered well after me getting phones earlier... well that's just total crap but apparently par for the course with Google. Everything I've read is that it's all down to UPS and that there is no apparent logic being applied to keeping orders, well, in order. What gets me here is that Google is all about data, that is their reason for being, collecting and analyzing data. How is it that they can screw this up so badly. I understand that people want the phone and their back logged but why is it so difficult to get the phones out in proper order? I have no issue waiting that isn't my complaint, I take issue with so many people saying that they ordered weeks after me and getting shipping conformation / phones delivered while I'm still waiting. That is inexcusable.

UPS loves logistics my ***...
 
Nothing like being lied to straight from Google. I replied to the email that was left after I had called before the second charge was applied this morning saying that there was a second charge applied to my bank account and got a reply that it was the same status from the day I called. They didn't even check to see that the payment was there. So just over 10 hours later, I get this!!!!
