'I've Ordered a Nexus 5' Thread! (Order & Shipping Discussion)

For those who received their Nexus 5 and live in CA. Using ground shipping. Is there any facilities between IL and CA? Do you mind post a photo of your complete tracking? Much appreciated

I know this isn't EXACTLY what you asked for, but I can tell you that I live in Northern Utah and my N5 didn't show any new arrival scan from Hodgkins, Illinois until SLC. And that took about 3 days to finally show in Salt Lake. Of course my N5 sat in Hodgkins for 5 days without moving so it was kind of a mess all around. But I learned my lesson, always pay the extra $5 for expedited!

Finally today is the day. It's on the truck for delivery on a day that's 5 degrees. I will have to run home from work to grab it so it isn't sitting out in the frigid cold all day.

Second replacement (third device) was shipped tonight. If this one has any problems I'm going to tap out and wait a couple months until they have the bugs worked out. Shame too; the battery life on the last couple I've had has been phenomenal. (4 hours of screen on time and 10 hours off charger the other day, which I've never had with a nexus before)

I ordered a black 16gb model on 12/2... they said: leaves warehouse by December 13, 2013.

It seems that the black 16gb is still the hardest to get.

I got my Black 32gb last night at 5:30. It took UPS 6 business days but it was worth the wait. Battery life has blown my S3 right out of the water so far and i'm only on the second charge cycle. If it gets even better than this, I will be beside myself with happiness. Great device so far. I definitely have to get used to the boxier shape and sharper corners, but my S3 was so rounded that isn't a surprise.

Anyone from Canada ordered these? I ordered a 32gb black, and I'm curious how long it takes to come out here (Toronto). Play store says it's set to leave the warehouse... yesterday, but still pending (and no charge to my credit card yet).

Ordered the black Nexus 5 (32GB) on December 5th, my ship date is December 11th.

Instead of ordering the Nexus Wireless charger, I ordered the LuguLake 6000mAh Qi wireless charger on Amazon for $62.49. It's both a wireless charger (That doesn't need to be plugged into a outlet) and a portable power bank. That way I can re charge my Nexus up about 3 times, without needing to plug into an electrical outlet.

You two are lucky. I ordered mine on 12/5 and no signs of it yet. I hope it doesn't go too far past the date, because I live in California and already canceled my Verizon service haha

The message says it will leave the warehouse in 4-5 weeks, on the 10th of January. For your experience, do you think I will receive it before Christmas?

I know this is a shipping thread, but I thought I would give you guys a heads up. The Sound (although very good) is pretty soft through headphones. I recommend faux sound with the analog controls set at 2 and the digital gain controls set at 0. I've been using this for the past couple of days and it's really nice. So, if you notice it as well, here's a fix

It seems they have more 32GB models in, versus 16GB models. I might have to spring and get a 32GB model, and call it a day...
