Just called support, she told me that it depends where you live when they ship. Still calls for the 8th for me.

Ordered mine. Black 32 gig. Still showing a Nov 8 shipping date.
Not thrilled about no SD or removable battery, but oh well. At least there is finally a 32 gig version, and the battery is bigger than the nexus 4.

Me too, about the 2nd paragraph. I'm glad I bought one. It's making more and more sense to me and I don't feel guilty about it.
Edit: The only other phone I really wanted, mainly because of the microSD and battery replacement options, is the GS4, but since I had the expense of needing 2 phones and a Sprint etf, I couldn't buy one outright - off contract, which is important for me since I move around a lot and I never know which carrier will be good or awful, so I want to be prepaid from now on. The N5 is a good price for a phone until I can afford to buy a good phone that does have a microSD and replaceable battery. I just hope someone continues to make them. If the GS5 comes out without microSD I'll be very unhappy.

Ordered mine yesterday (10/31), but because of an order snafu (partly my fault...accidentally ordered twice), it got inadvertently cancelled by the Google Play automation to protect me from credit card fraud. So, I can't really blame them (victim of CC fraud a few years back). So, after I wait through the 48 hour window, I'm re-ordering. Just hope it can still get to me in 3-4 weeks.
Has anyone on the East Coast who ordered a 16GB variant yesterday after 2:30 p.m. Eastern received a shipping confirmation? My credit card is still displaying a pending charge and my order status still shows up as pending.
I'm not being impatient - my phone is scheduled to ship by November 5, which I'm sure will happen. The anticipation is part of the fun!

Same boat. Ordered a 32 gig and it shows the same thing. Card and order pending but still says will ship by 11/5 2 day air. MD area.

Yeah, everything that I ever ordered from Google has come from the Louisville depot. Just hope it ships by the 5th and delivered by the 7th b4 6. Leaving to go outta town and that would suck!!

Ordered 2:06 EST, PA to be exact and received the confirmation email after midnight. Not updated in UPS though. A note, I selected 2-day shipping.
I placed my order for a 32 black at 2:30pm EST yesterday with 2 day shipping. I got the shipped email at 5am this morning and the UPS tracking number just went active in the last 15 minutes saying it is in transit.
I wish tomorrow wasn't the weekend, or I would have it tomorrow. I normally get 2 day shipping from UPS overnight when it originates in Louisville.

They're likely beginning to scan boxes now. Considering that there are likely thousands, it's going to take a little while for all of them to get scanned. I'm sure everyone's will update soon enough.
