Mine said three weeks but shipped after two so hopefully it will be quicker for you.

ordered one yesterday! I ditched my Lumia 925 after all the nightmares I had with Windows Phone and Nokia, and now getting the a Nexus 5, I ordered from google play, it says that it will ship on march 14, are they on backordered or something? would love to get the phone sooner.

Yes, very likely. I ordered the rarer Red edition on Saturday and it shipped Monday night.

don't think it works for ubuntu, but pdanet works great with the Droid and Eris for Windows users.
