"I've ordered my Galaxy S6" (Order & Shipping Discussion)

Preordered on March 27 from Sprint and just received an email that my S6 edge 64gb gold has shipped, Ups tracking says i should get it by the 13th. I've been telling myself for the last 2 weeks to just wait for Friday, then when it came and i didnt have any new info i started to freak out, so at least now i just gotta make it to Monday

After being burned in the past with pre-orders, I decided to just walk into my local AT&T store this morning and buy one in person. I arrived at 9 am when they opened, and there was only two other customers there (none of which were buying an S6). So, it was no problem for me to walk right up and get what I wanted (64GB Black S6). They also offered me an ASUS 7" Android Tablet for 99 cents since I was buying a new smartphone.

I did the same. The rep said that they had sold 3 by 2:30 pm. I was the 4th

Got my email yesterday. Walked in Best Buy at 730pm and after selling my old phones, walked out with my 64GB black sapphire AT&T GS6 that I preordered on March 27th. Haven't tried the wireless charger yet. Got $100 for my GS4. They also gave a me a free Samsung tote bag. After all is said and done, $90 remaining price paid on the two contract price paid with my Best Buy card. The mobile folks were much better prepared at helping get phones set up than taking preorders.

Went in yesterday, bb still didn't have any att phones that were pre ordered so I walked into the att store and walked out with my phone.I need to cancel my pre order with bb now. At least I got a $50 gift card there now lol.

Preorder was not handled well but last night, the mobile crew was awesome at getting devices setup. It went after 730pm CST last night. There were still three ahead of and three or four behind all picking up or setting up their GS6 devices on various carriers.

Awesome jcp! I wonder if I can sell my note 3 and put it towards my s6 after I've already purchased it...

Finally got someone to buy my HTCM8 Saturday and I immediately ordered the Gold 64g from the T-Mo website...The site says it was shipped within a few hours (on a Saturday?), but I still have no tracking number :-\ Cant wait I already shipped out my M8 so im using an old xperia for now.

Yeah I'd love to see the platinum in person. Loving my pearl white so far. Just taking little getting used to the smaller screen. Coming from Note 3. The biggest issue so far is the small keyboard lol.

I know that it will be a tough adjustment not having to put a tablet to your ear to use for a phome.

Lol. It's funny you say that. I'm now going to use my note 3 as my tablet. I have a nexus 7 2013, but honestly I never use it and I feel the Note blows the nexus away court my mileage.

I've checked my status with UPS and my Gold S6 Edge is at my shipping depot scheduled for delivery tomorrow between 12-4. Now I hope there are no scratches and everything is well. We shall see. I'm pumped!

Just got back from Saint Lucia yesterday, 3rd day travelling a rain forest and my busy excited mind to jump in the waterfall I forgot to put away my nexus 5...very frustrating. Got it booted up again but the cellular signal constantly bounces (tried with multiple sim cards no help), screen brightness has decreased about 80%, vibration lost and functionality lost i today paid for an early hardware upgrade and got a black sapphire 32gb S6. Love it!!!!! While I enjoyed stock android this device exceeds all my expectations even after reading and commenting with concerns here for weeks. Great device.

Tried the demo S6 Edge wasn't a fan

Same here, I thought I would have liked the S6-Edge but when I played with it at the store in person it just didnt seem practical. It felt like it would be annoying to handle on a daily basis.

I personally do not like the edge slopes, I thought they'd be cool but in use I just found them unnecessary and didn't add the extra level of cool in viewing I expected.
