Haha I do feel quite pathetic as well. I was admiring my case mate case earlier.... So sad. No phone to put it on lol

I need my phone now. Otherwise, this stack is gonna continue to grow lol.

I feel the same way about Verizon. Especially now that the registration for the Gear VR and Gear S2 on the promotions page already started and they haven't even started shipping the phones out yet.

I called Verizon today to complain/ask about the lack of phone and the promo opening up. The call started as you'd expect, the CSR told me the promo item would ship with the phone...(we all know that's no correct). So I informed her how I've been told it would work. She put me on hold to 'look up my info" and when she came back she must have looked it up because shedidnt tenure the redemption webpage. So I then complained that other carriers were getting phones and the Samsung promo site says it's "first come first serve". So she says "let's call Samsung". She then puts me on hold. When she returns to the line she tells me she has spoken with the Samsung promo folks and that VZW customers will get in on the deal as long as they register during the registration period.

Take that with a grain of salt. I'm skeptical of what she told me. I want to believe her but I'll believe it when I see the watch/VR in my mailbox.

I don't trust anything they say. Those people are clueless. All I know with Verizon is to expect Murphy's law with them.

I heard from a source of mine who works for Verizon... The earliest they are planning to ship is March 8th..... so i hope this is true... It sucks... but its better then Verizon only shipping on March 11th...

You don't have to worry about us (sprint customers) hogging up the VRs. Our VR is shipping from Sprint. We don't get the watch option, but I would stick with my original Gear S anyway.

Well, I'm taking the plunge and stepping up from my S5 with a cracked screen... But I'm lower on the list than some of you other Verizon folks. I put the order in last night, and it just says 'processing' today. Any insight on how long it usually takes to go from 'processing' to any kind of estimated ship date or other info? I'm itching to get this thing! Tired of looking at my poor smashed S5 and excited to be doing the new phone thing.... I probably haven't checked these forums in two years, haha.

Tarah, I'm glad you did lie! As a long time Sprint customer that is now switching to Verizon along with my pre-order on the 27th, your info on Verizon orders has been informative! Thanks!

I've defended verizon many times over the years. but I really wish they would stop being like this every phone launch, if your 3 other competitors are shipping the same damn phone then ship yours as well FFS.

the fact there is a limited redemption promo worth several hundred dollars in the mix just adds to it.

verizon is lame.
