What kind of charger came with it? A "brick" with detachable cable, or is the cable built in?
If the cable is detachable, is it USB-C to USB-C or, C to A.

That would ideal. Initial reports are showing dismal pre-sales in China. Didn't see global numbers but it almost looks like the America's, UK, and Australia were the target demographic. My only concern with this device was HTCs ability to keep itself in the phone arena over the next few years to provide software support for their current devices.

I think you're right. China probably not the main focus.

Yeah, it was charged when it went to Pending Fulfilled, but was listed on the card website as 'pending'.

I posted an earlier question on how long it took for pending to in transit. The answer for me as I just found out. 1 day. For me it went fom pending fulfilment late yesterday to tracking info late today. Hope everyone else gets the same. Also they shipped overnight which I'm pretty sure I paid for 2 day shipping. It seems like they are upgrading everyone. Wish I didn't pay the extra shipping money now but no real complaints with it.

Ordered the carbon gray on 4/14 at about 930 pm and just received my shipping email from htc. Ordered changed to fulfillment early this morning. And now gives a tracking number. Couldn't use the FedEx delivery manager because it's being sent to my work. Should be here tomorrow by 3. It was sent standard overnight and I chose the free shipping option.

Just got mine today and gave to say, not surprised and this is coming from a Nexus 6p. No camera quick launch except from lock screen. The screen brightness goes full power ever once in a blue moon for no reason. Mine came with two launchers, Google and sense, super weird. I have messaging apps from Google and from sense, two calculators... This is just to name a few things. Lastly the device is always warm, even when just writing an email or browsing the web. May just end up selling it.

Has anyone been able to locate tracking on Fedex's website via reference number? If so, what was the reference number - what portion of the order, or order number, etc...

Ordered through htc.com on the 13th. Glacial Silver. Still shows pending fulfillment for 48 hours now. No email or text messages received. Pretty disappointed in this process since orders placed after mine are already shipping.

Sounds like a dud. I have the Verizon one so I'm unsure if it's different but I have do not have any of these issues. Try factory reseting? Or honestly exchange

You're not alone. A lot of us are still 'pending fulfillment.' Similar discussions happening on the xda forum. I'm in Canada so we'll see how things go at the border?! Order via HTC Canada, shipped from USA.

Just got off chat, and they were clueless.

They said it was in "pending payment", and that it was "trying" to charge my card. I called my credit card company and they said there were no charges or denied charges, so the guys at HTC clearly never even tried to charge my card. They said it would take until Sunday. I really should just cancel my order and get an iPhone.

I got my unlocked phone delivered today. It looks amazing. I ordered the gray one. Unfortunately, despite having the necessary bands I was unable to get it to activate on Verizon. I saw the 4G LTE logo appear for a few seconds but it disappeared. I will be sending the phone back.
