You have to call them because that is the same thing that happened to me. The bank won't show it but they did try but stay on the phone with them until it goes throughJust got off chat, and they were clueless.
They said it was in "pending payment", and that it was "trying" to charge my card. I called my credit card company and they said there were no charges or denied charges, so the guys at HTC clearly never even tried to charge my card. They said it would take until Sunday. I really should just cancel my order and get an iPhone.
When I called earlier, I got a different story. They said when I called, the order was going to be automatically canceled (but it hasn't yet so far). I'm tired and am done really with it tonight. I think at this point I'll give it a day or two. If there is no movement, I'll cancel and get an iPhone. You have to call them because that is the same thing that happened to me. The phones will be flooded in stores by that time. It is best you cancel and RE order because persons who ordered yesterday shipped todayWhen I called earlier, I got a different story. Well, did you order the Verizon specific model? If not, that's why it doesn't work...Verizon has a dedicated model and when ordering you would've had to select the Verizon button instead of the 'Unlocked' button.
So its basically a HTC or its a iPhone for you? When I called earlier, I got a different story. They said when I called, the order was going to be automatically canceled (but it hasn't yet so far). At this point, I only buy unlocked, and phones that have a history of getting updates. That leaves me with unlocked HTC, unlocked Lumia, unlocked iPhone, or unlocked Nexus. I've had a Lumia 830, and the W10 ecosystem just isn't there. I don't care for any of the current Nexus devices, so that leaves HTC and the iPhone. I really do like my wife's 6s. I really do want the HTC 10 as I'd much rather have android. I guess I could wait for the HTC nexus, but I really need a new phone.
Sounds like a dud. I have the Verizon one so I'm unsure if it's different but I have do not have any of these issues. Try factory reseting? Or honestly exchange
Definitely a dud, or one that someone messed with and turned in, then was re-shipped. There is only one launcher, and that is the trimmed down HTC Sense. I would do a reset like Brianna said, then send it back if it's not 100% after that.
For the camera, you can quick launch with the phone off, from the lock screen, or from the launcher with the phone on.
So who has received an email about a small token from HTC? Curious who of the people who pre ordered the phone, qualify for this gift. I know I pre ordered like others, but didn't get a email.
I ordered my phone April 30th and got a email saying it will arrive tomorrow! Can't wait to get rid of my s6 edge.
Apart from the fact having the Verizon logo as eye sore, Verizon bloat, slow OS updates etc.I pre-ordered the phone back on April 12 before Verizon had their pre-order. Honestly, there isn't anything different from the unlocked version from the Verizon version. Same phone. IMEI on the unlocked version starts with 354 and on the Verizon version starts with 990. The unlocked phone even managed to pick up that I had a Verizon Sim in it when I went to the APN settings. Verizon just doesn't want us to have unlocked phones. I am willing to bet that once HTC makes the next Nexus and it is unlocked and able to work on Verizon the HTC 11 (or whatever it is called) will be able to work on all carriers. If Motorola can do it after working with Google then I don't see why it can't happen with HTC as well.
