"I've ordered my HTC 10!" (Order & Shipping Discussion)

has anyone who ordered on or after the 14th received the Thank you/Small Token of Appreciation e-mail? I ordered my phone on the 14th and got the phone on the 6th yet I still havn't gotten the e-mail. I hope they are doing the small token of appreciation for all who pre-ordered the phone and not just for those that preordered on the 12th or 13th.

I received my HTC 10 Verizon model on Monday....just received my special gift email in the last ten minutes. Reserving judgement on the phone for a few days. Definitely more responsive than my S6 Edge, but not ready to say it was worth the upgrade yet. Most impressive has been the sound through the headphone jack. Playing through my aux port in the car is noticeably better than the Edge. Volume set to 12 is louder than what my Edge can do at full blast. Battery has also been significantly better. 1hour in the car has been all the charge it's seen since I received it, sitting at 43% right now. Significant amount of apps downloaded, and mobile hotspot was active for ~30 minutes while I transferred files from my Edge.
 
Really hope it's an extra phone charger, would love to have one in my car

Well, it would appear that, for a number of us Canadians, stuck in 'Pending Fulfillment' purgatory, our orders are being cancelled and, inexplicably, HTC is uninterested in our business.

This am I saw that the Digital River authorization from 5 May had been removed and funds replenished on my credit card. This despite my having called HTC yesterday and hearing that my phone was "in process;" that funds had been received; and that I would receive it soon. They even have me a reference number, lol.

Short of appealing to the greater wisdom of folks here at AC (that is, if you have any suggestions?), it would seem that a number of us Canadians are out of luck and that we are not able to order the unlocked phone that we wanted.

I received mine on Monday, but it has a battery percentage issue, so I might have to return it. Hoping HTC does right by this, otherwise I might just demand my money back.
 
So apparently like a true *** hat I had my e-mail filtered and just realized that fact today. Upon digging back a couple day of e-mail I did indeed receive the free gift e-mail on may 6th. So this whole time I was unhappy I didn't get one but it just turns out I'm an *****.

LOL! Lots of unneeded stress. But in the end...it just gave you an ulcer! :-P
 
Just ordered mine with next day shipping. Any idea on its ETA?

Next year? Kidding. If you call customer service, they'll tell you end of the month, early next month. They told me that last Wednesday, and my phone arrived on Monday. Maybe they have a different calendar over there? I don't know. Most likely, you'll have it within a week.

assuming your billing goes through ok its actually pretty fast. Once your order status changes to pending fulfillment you will have it the following day. So possibly Friday but most likely early next week.
 
I guess next logical step of this Forum is guessing when the Token of Appreciation will arrive. I'm gonna go with the week of the 16th. that's far enough out to make people grumpy but not so far to be ridiculous.

for what your phone to arrive or the token of appreciation to arrive? its next day shipping not next day fulfilling order and shipping. check your order status. If its pending fulfillment then I agree you will have it tomorrow. if its boxed shipment then you will wait a couple days for them to get around to fulfilling your order.
 
So wait, even though they list the phone as in stock and they specifically have this message when ordering:
"Next Business Day and Next Business Day AM deliveries available for orders received before 1:00 PM Central, 2:00 PM Eastern, Monday through Thursday"
you will not actually get it the next day if you order it before the indicated time? If so that is a total fail on HTC's part and makes overnight shipping pointless. I'm hoping that's not correct since I want mine before this weekend.
