So much for Ice models not shipping I just got confirmation that mine has shipped and I will have it on Wednesday.

I ordered mine on the 29th about an hour after it went online and live in Houston if that matters to anyone.

My day one order black 16GB 5X shows label created on FedEx now, estimated arrival 10/21 via my paid 2-day shipping.

Like others, it's coming from Mira Loma, CA to me in Seattle.

Just over an hour later and I now have a proper tracking number, and it's been picked up. Google Store still claims "processing" just switched to "shipped".

So, in the process of contacting Google, I found out that they actually sold out of nexus 5x devices and its on back order,but they never updated the webpage. Getting more info, will update when I can.


Update:
The nexus 5x 32gb Quartz is out of stock. All current pending orders will have to wait up to an extra 2 weeks before receiving an update on the order. I was advised to contact them and ask every other day about aa stock update.

Has anyone received their $50 play credit email yet? Google states that they will send out an email when the device ships. I got my shipping info just recently for the 32Gb Ice but no play credit email.

The 5X is the only one that caught my eye. Loved my Nexus 5, and always like the "smaller" devices, so I went with it almost purely out of nostalgia. Also was happy to see that features like the camera and fingerprint sensor remained strong in the 5X, and I think it can be a good device for me.

Damn my 32 GB ice has no movement and I ordered even before the preorder links went live on their site .... Order details still shows pending between 23 - 26th. Hoping to see it change to shipped soon. Don't see anything on fedex tracking and credit card still not charged so not looking good ... Welp

For me it's like a combination of the minimalistic appeal of the original Moto X (lower res display, great in-hand feel, smaller profile, etc) and the embodiment of the Nexus 5 (similar design). Considering those are two of my favorite phones I've ever used, this was a no brainer for me.

Got my shipping email from Google at about 4:15 today. I ordered the Black 16GB 5X a little after it was available to order. Mine is coming from Mira Loma, California And it says I get it on Friday. I'm in Tampa, Fl and I did the free shipping option.

^^How odd that Florida would get it from California when others on the east coast are seeing Illinois. I selected the free shipping option and am in Florida as well. It shows shipped but no tracking info yet. If free shipping chosen, does that mean fedex ground or are they doing two day?

It's FedEx Ground. It's shipping today from Cali to Florida and I don't get it till Friday.

I would suppose that may be a product of just how they distributed the different models to shipping hubs when they came in. That's why ground is "3-5 day" — could vary a bit depending where it comes from.

I have the opposite problem.

Google says shipped, but whenever I try to track it, I receive the message of "No tracking number found." I hope first thing tomorrow, I can see it on FedEx.
